Gummy Bears are a well known childhood candy that everyone
has tried at least once in their lives. Imagine that childhood candy that we

The Gummy Bear breast implants may become a new silicone implant for surgeons.
These new silicone breast implants are said to be safer because of their low
rupture rate. When regular implants rupture, such as saline implants, the content
within the breast implant may leak within the body very quickly, and the breast
will start to deflate, causing the breast to be disfigured. This is also very dangerous if there are
bacteria within the implants. Dr. Grant Stevens named the implants “gummy bear”
because of it gel-like content, which causes the implants to remain in shape
when cut in half similar to gummy bear candies.
Sientra the company that produces these implants, have been FDA approved
in March of 2012.
